Effective immediately, MeetYourMakers has to part ways with its Dota2 team. Signed with in February 2014, the team was announced as a great successor to the MYM Dota history, but many problems got in their way, one of the most important being the trouble of finding a fifth player that could fit the squad. We will not renew the player contracts which means they are no longer playing under the MYM tag.
Damir Dedic, Esports Manager for MeetYourMakers explains why we had to close down the Dota2 division:
“I have been working with the team for a long time but unfortunately we did not raise up to the expectations of MeetYourMakers and the results were more than disappointing for everyone.The constant line-up changes were not a solution, especially for the players, who had to learn to play with someone new every time.This is not the end though, MeetYourMakers is preparing a new addition that will be announced soon.
We want to thank the guys for the effort they brought to the team!
